We’ll meet on Zoom, so your sessions take place where you live your life. No need to travel to an office or studio. A Zoom link will be sent to you when you register.

We’ll discover which movement patterns are causing you pain, use guided exercises to refine those movements, and help you to embody your new patterns for lasting relief

A home program you can stick to

You’ll receive a home program to explore between sessions that is designed just for YOUR body and that fits your life. No strict rules here; practice as much or as little as you can.

What could you do if you felt better in your body?

I help you achieve your goals, not “fix” your condition. We’ll identify a meaningful target during our first session and consistently evaluate your progress.

Are 1:1 private sessions right for me?

YES, if you’ve been living with chronic, nagging, or intermittent pain. Many of our clients feel like they’ve tried EVERYTHING– strengthening, stretching, even surgery– and are still held back by their pain. You don’t have to live this way. If you are ready to feel better in your body, get curious about your movement, and see results, our 1:1 sessions are a great fit for you.

Do I need special equipment?

You will need a mat, a set of yoga blocks, a yoga strap, and a towel. Yoga blocks and straps are readily available on Amazon or at stores like Target or T.J. Maxx.

What if I have questions between sessions?

Kendra is available to you via email between sessions, and no question is too small. Email as much or as little as you want with any questions, comments, or revelations that arise. Communication between sessions is just as important as our live time together.

How does therapeutic yoga work?

Most rehabilitative and healing modalities address either the body OR the mind and consist of repetitive exercise programs. Yoga is known for its amazing benefits as an integrated mind-body practice. Therapeutic yoga combines physical movement, somatic practices, and mindful reflection on what’s happening in your body to create lasting change. You literally learn to feel better by feeling into your body! Our bodies are constantly communicating through pain, sensation, and tension patterns. However, these signals are often below our level of awareness. By attuning to what your body has to say, you can learn to respond effectively, move with more ease, build true strength and mobility, and calm your nervous system. Best of all, YOU develop the awareness you need to maintain your results over time.

How many private sessions will I need?

We ask that you commit to at least five sessions spread over eight weeks to see results. From there, you can decide what fits your life! Some opt to renew their five-week series, some see us weekly, and others find five sessions to be enough to get the results they’re after.

Can I benefit from therapeutic yoga if I’m working with other practitioners?

Absolutely! Therapeutic yoga beautifully complements physical therapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic care, helping you to enhance the benefits of these treatments. We frequently see clients who are currently in physical therapy, helping them bring more internal awareness, reduced pain, and long-lasting benefits to the exercises prescribed to them. If you’re also working with a massage therapist or chiropractor, our private sessions can help the benefits you receive last longer between treatments.
